About Us
Over the past several years, Tailwind has focused on what happens between a strategy and its execution. As we worked with leaders to align their organizations and engage their people, our team analyzed those factors that engaged people strategically and got them on the same page with their leadership.
We learned to view thinking as a process and developed best-practices to help leaders at all levels to align their team’s thinking—and their work—with the overall strategy. This unique perspective allowed us to codify the strategic intent of any organization at the individual level. Managing the quality of individual strategy translation has allowed us to dramatically improve our clients’ execution. At the same time, this point of view has enabled us to architect high-impact Leadership Development programs that are sustaining our clients’ ability to execute with excellence over the long haul.
Over the last seven years, we worked with clients—large and small—who were willing to try new ways of doing things in order to achieve a different level of results. As we tested these new ideas, we began to capture what we learned in order to share our insight with others.
Over time, our proprietary intellectual property has expanded significantly. We now find that our solutions and approaches are attractive to other consulting firms when they want to help their clients engage their people, align their organization, and execute their solutions.

We believe that the know-how for what we do should remain with our clients after we’ve departed. We have a bias toward teaching your organization how to sustain the results that we initially help you create. Our clients appreciate the fact that our solutions focus on their own real work—we don’t spend any time on simulations or hypotheticals. We do real work together, and participants learn in the process, which is different from the more common method of learning something, then trying to apply it to real work.
